Period symptoms = no pregnancy? Help me out!

Question

(Also posted in General TTC) How many of you ladies had your regular period symptoms the month you got your BFP? I feel like I should count myself out for this month. My boobs are sore as normal, I’m fatigued as normal. The only new thing I have experienced this month is pain during sex, but I doubt that it’s a sign of early pregnancy. AF due 2/23 😔 I need some hope!

Unfortunately, progesterone  (also produced during pregnancy) is the reason why your body gives you "pregnancy symptoms" in your tww. There's really no way to tell if they were prey symptoms or normal pms symptoms until you take a test when af is due. And most of the time, ladies say the month they got pregnant.. they had NO symptoms! Good luck.

My symptoms before my positive test were exactly the same as any other cycle. A lot of women who have been pregnant will tell you the same. Most “real” pregnancy symptoms don’t really kick in until 6 weeks. You’ll make yourself crazy symptom spotting.
