What can I take?

Hi ladies I’m full of cold but 6 weeks pregnant. Can anyone recommend anything to shift it? I know you’re allowed paracetamol but is there anything else? 🤧

I wouldn't take anything during the first trimester. I am currently 30+3 and this is the list they gave me on what I can take and can not take and actually finding the stuff I can take is really freaking hard so I am over here with a horrible cold and sinus infection that I've had for a week and I've been using a netty pot and Benadryl and Tylenol for my ear aches.

I take the Tylenol cold & flu every time I get sick while pregnant and it seems to help

Talk to your doctor because I have heard mixed things about taking any meds during the first 20 weeks. My neighbor got a cold and she was not allowed to have anything

I’d just tough it out if I were you. But I’m pretty anti-medicine. There are plenty of natural remedies! Honey-lemon tea, Epsom baths, apple cider vinegar, elderberry juice, plenty of fluids and rest!
