TDAP is something you need to get to protect your baby from whooping cough which is a fatal disease. They will have a higher levels of antibodies. Your doctor or OB can give a sheet of pros, cons, what it is, side effects.

I got mine when my daughter was 2 months 2 years ago my doctor said I should again even though it last 10 years?. Is anyone else in that position? I’m happy to go get it just confused

Got it! I understand whooping cough is rare these days but I'm all for giving my baby the best protection possible. My shoulder was a little sore the next day or two but that was it. Small price to pay for some extra protection for little bean.

I got mine 2 days ago at 31+4. No side effects, just a sore arm :)  recommended to get between 28 - 32 weeks

I’m supposed to get mine Tuesday and I on the edge about it since there is research showing that it MIGHT (not saying it’s proven) lead to autism. I got it with my son and he’s fine.

Just got it this week, arm barely hurt but I did get a mild fever and aches/chills 20 hours after the shot. It lasted just one afternoon/night and then was gone. I’m just glad it’s not the flu. Dr. said that yeah that can happen, but not very common. 
I’d get it again tho.

I had whooping cough 3 years ago after my childhood vaccine ran out. It is absolutely horrendous! Do everything you can to avoid getting this virus! 😩
