Why are cramps so scary

Every time I feel a cramp I get so scared. When will this go away :(

Normal to feel scared, but unfortunately cramping can last the whole time. If it’s tolerable and you aren’t bleeding then there’s no need to worry. Deep breaths, my dear!

You get cramps through your entire pregnancy, they're just more common in the first trimester. Don't worry about them too much unless they become very painful and you have bleeding, then make an appointment with your doctor or if it is awful go to the ER! Besides that just remember those cramps are your baby and uterus continuing to grow and try to enjoy/embrace them! Mine went away for the most part at 8 weeks but I still get them now and then or my lower abdomen will feel lightly crampy while I'm at work - I'm 14w3d.

I have been cramping since before I tested positive and it has caused so much anxiety but everyone I have talked to including my drs have said it is all ok as long as I’m not bleeding and it’s not severe. It’s a normal part of this journey. I saw my PCP today and she told me this when i told her my anxiety was through the roof and i was having panic attacks again: “Send only good vibrations to the baby because they can pick up negativity. Everything will be ok just stay positive”

I am the same. This is my third pregnancy I’ve had two miscarriages but every time I get pains I get scared! Xx
