Part of mucus plug?

I’m a FTM and totally lost. I’ve had constant back cramps for two days and I saw his when I wiped. Is this part of the mucus plug? Do I need to call doc for this? I’m nearly 34 weeks.

My doctor told me during my first pregnancy that you can lose your entire plug more than once and it just regenerates itself. Don't feel bad momma! If you see it get bloody or have brown streaks I would call to just keep your doctor in the loop but that's normal too. If you're having pain for sure call your doctor. I can promise you they would rather you call a million times a day and be safe rather than be afraid to call once and be in trouble. Hugs 🤗

Yes part of it and no you don’t need to call. It’s normal to lose bits and pieces of it. It does regenerate. Just need to call if it comes out in a very large chunk and is bloody. Like a tampon.

It could be but it just grows back. It doesn’t really mean much. I started loosing bits of mine around that time but went over my due date.
