For most of my adult life, I was pretty certain I didn’t want kids. I met my (now) husband when I was in my late twenties, and I realized I felt differently on the subject knowing that he would be my partner in it. I’m 30 now, we’re married, and we are in our second month of trying to conceive. My parents still think I never want kids, and we haven’t shared with anyone that we’re trying. How do you hold in the (potentially) exciting news? Did you share with anyone? Did your family know that you even wanted a child?
