It’s normal to like attention from the opposite sex, even when in a relationship, however it’s all about how you deal with it. As long as you don’t engage with said man and follow the attention into oblivion, you’re fine. Everyone likes an occasional ego boost, but there is a line that you should not cross when in a relationship.

If you don’t know that it’s wrong to crave, need or get attention from someone other than your SO while you’re in a committed relationship with them, then you shouldn’t be dating. Period. 
Be single, hoe around and wait to get into a serious relationship until you can be faithful and committed to another human being. Don’t ruin good men for us normal women just because you’re insecure and immature.

I think it's normal to feel good about attention from anyone, men or women but you do not seek it out and sure as hell don't act on it. You have to be fully into your relationship or marriage if it's gonna work, letting your mind wonder and seek attention is not good for your relationship.

I don't think it's okay when you're in a happy, healthy relationship. I say this specifically because in my last relationship, I wasn't given the attention that I needed so I like other men giving me compliments and attention that I knew I deserved. I was in a toxic relationship and me almost craving this attention was the last sign I needed to know it was time to get out of that relationship. I'd rather leave than cheat if I'm not being fulfilled.
