I woke up to blood again

I had some spotting last week, we heard the heart beat and everything was fine it seemed. I woke up this morning, got up to pee and took no more than three steps and blood came rushing out, down my legs and onto the floor. There was so much blood I thought I was dying. I went to the er right away and we found the heart beat, twice. I am still bleeding, but not as bad. No pain anymore. Did any one have this happen? Can anyone give me any advice? Did this happen to anyone else?
