Help.. My HPT are positive but..

I took two hpt two days apart one is 5 days post AF the one I took today is now 3 days post AF. The first one was faint but the second one showed positive results immediately and before the allotted 3 minutes were up. Now I'm super happy but trying to suppress my excitement as I've heard of chemical pregnancies showing positive in early hpt only to become early MCs... Also aware of false positives. So I also haven't told my husband yet... Idk if it's worth getting his hopes up yet. AF is due on the 12th. Should I wait until I miss my period and get the doctors opinion before I tell him? Only my mom and sister know of my hpt results...
