Not currently ttc, but worried about future

So my SO has type 1 diabetes and he doesn’t seem to have the same ‘replenishment’ time as what seems to be the standard time. It usually takes him a couple of days before he can ejaculate again. He also has issues finishing if his blood sugar is low, and sometimes if it’s too high. We’re not currently ttc, but I’m worried about when we are and if this will cause issues. I’m just wondering if there is anyone else out there who has a diabetic SO and if this is/has caused them issues or if it hasn’t been a problem.
