Why continue to buy blue die tests?

Question

If there known to show false positives and give false hope why do people continue to use them? Pink die is the only way to go. At least there's less chance of false hope.

I feel so bad for ladies seeing evaps on blue tests 😔 I've been there before and never again will get my hopes up.

I used blue dye tests. Got negatives in the past. Then got a positive. Then got a baby. (He's 9 days old now)

If they didn't work, they wouldn't be sold.

I've used both blue & pink they have all always been right either negative when they were or positive when I was actually pregnant which tech has been 4 times but only 2 living children because of mc but it's funny I went out got pink dye test because all I ever see is blue dye aren't accurate so on so really I wasted getting pink dye test because people put it in my head my blue dye ones could be wrong the grocery store my husband works at happens to have a pretty good price on blue dye so it was convenience that I got them then made it inconvenient in the end anyway lol I guess I just don't see this issue lots of others see with blue dye so next time I will go with convenience & leave it that since I know both work fine for me

People use them because the work 99% of the time like the pink tests. It's all based on opinions, I use blue dyes and they never give me problems.

I've personally had more problems with evaps on pink dye then blue dye.  Its personal preference. I do think clear blue is the way to go for blue dye tests though

Blue dye EPT was the only test that gave me a positive when I was pregnant with my now 2 year old son. All tests can be defective have dye run or evaps.

I've never had a problem with blue dye. I got a positive with two blue dye recently and was 9 weeks but ended up having a miscarriage.

I've never had any evap lines on blue dye tests until after the correct testing time window was over.
