H&R Block and Amazon

Just thought I would share for those that will get a tax refund and haven’t filed yet. I did my taxes with H&R; Block and they have a promotion where you can do a portion of your refund on an Amazon gift card and get 5% extra. I happen to have my registry setup with Amazon so I figured why not. I’m due the first week of May so next month I get 15% off (10% for non-prime members) to “complete my registry.” Since I did $500 with H&R; Block I got $525 back. With my discount, I can spend $603.75. Or $103.75 basically free. I thought I was being kinda thrifty and would share. You can load the gift card onto your account and wait until your registry discount is active.
