So mad...

I'm 21. I'm single but I have a five year old daughter. I work, go to school, and spend the rest of my time with my kid/at home. I go out 2-3 times a month with friends only. When I go out, my daughter stays with my mom. Never have I left her anywhere else.

My bro and sis in law were talking smack!! He's 19 and she's 17, she's 8 months preggo. I overheard them this morning talking about how I need to stop going out, grow up, focus on my kid, etc.

Hmm...I graduated HS, they both dropped out. She worked for a month "then got injured", my bro has had like 5 different jobs in the past three months, I've had two jobs in the past 5 years. I'm in college. I don't "party like a college kid" because I know I have a responsibility at home. A drink or two, sure. A concert every now and then, why not. Dinner with the chicks, awesome!

But is that wrong!??

I just walked past them and said good morning like I didn't hear anything and they immediately started hushing each other. I know if I had said something, things would've gotten out of hand. Since then, I haven't talked to the few people I socialize with because their convo is just in my head. Smh
