Ex boyfriend

Sorry its long.

So I was with my ex for a year and 6 months it was so good in the beginning but then he went to prison 3 times which I waited a total of 6 months for him then the second time he got out of prison he didn’t message me or anything for ages then a month went by and he messaged again he had got himself back into prison he wrote letters we had phone calls about a lot but then he told me once he had gotten out again that he had cheated he talked to numerous girls women I had a miscarriage while he was in prison the 3rd time he was my first proper love and he kept cheating when he got out and always lying he started drinking a lot and got violent most of the time I still cant get over him I’m currently taking antidepressants and nothings helping me my head is a mess and I don’t know what else I can do I’ve tried talking about this with my best friend but I can never find the right words
