so I have a friends with benifits and I'm going on my period soon (the same time he's gonna come over) I can't see him any sooner. he says he's fine with doing it while I'm on but I'm not sure if I'm very comfortable with it. I think I mostly just don't know what it will be like, if it will be messy, if the blood will embarrass me or have a funny smell and turn him off. what is sex on you're period like and is it a good idea?

Two options here. 
1. Don’t do it if you’re so uncomfortable about it. Tell him you don’t want too while you’re on your period. If he cares he will understand. You’ll see him again and can do it comfortably when it’s not shark week.
2. If you already told him you were and he doesn’t mind then go for it! It’s not that bad. Lay a towel down or a blanket that can be washed easily. & don’t think about it. If the sex is enjoyable then you probably won’t be thinking about it anyway!
