Painful cramping???

This is our first month truly TTC. I had been having bad cramping for three days and was starting to get concerned because AF wasn't due for another week but then I received AF today (so 7 days early) and I am having WAY more painful cramping then I have ever had before IN MY LIFE. Just a coincidence or could something else be up? The pain is keeping me awake 👎🏻😓any ideas?
