Types of twins?

Excuse my lack of knowledge on all the “twin” lingo.😂 So, normal OB says my twins are in separate sacs and have separate placentas. I’m only 13 weeks so I don’t know genders yet. My two questions are: A. They are DiDi, right? And, B. They are most likely fraternal BUT there is still a smaller chance they are identical, correct?
Also, I go to the MFM on Monday. Since they aren’t sharing anything, are they able to find out if they are identical before birth?

Yes, they're di/di twins. They're likely fraternal (two eggs) but there is a chance you had one egg that split very early on. If they're the same gender you won't be able to know until they're born if they're identical, and even then may require a blood test to find out for sure (since they may look a lot alike!). They are di/di. There is still a chance it was 1 egg that split b4 the US & they would be identical if they are the same gender. They can do a DNA test at birth to check.

Good question I thought I knew everything about twins since I’ve already been obsessed but jut learned a lot reading responses! I’m almost 11 weeks with di/di twins as well 😁
