Any runners out there?

I'm a big fan of running regularly. I have a friend too who runs regularly. She got preg a few months ago, after trying for more than a year. She's convinced it's because she ran even while trying and thinks that one shouldn't run while ttc. Any comments about that?

I have a friend who ran a marathon a few days before finding out she was pregnant.

I don't think there is any evidence that supports it other than her anecdotal evidence. My understanding is the only time physical exercise hinders pregnancy is if you are so active that you are underweight. Otherwise, marathon runners and elite runners get pregnant all the time 35-70 miles a week runners.
