Heated boobs?

I’m a FTM. Every time I take off my bra and my boobs sit on my stomach they’re on fire. The underneath of my boobs are so hot all the time. Is that normal? Hormonal thing?

Boob sweat is a given with my body. When doing house work, I keep an undershirt stuffed under my boobs so I don't feel sweat rolling down my belly. 😕

It may have something to do with your hormones, too. Remember, your boobs are working like they never have before! There is some normal heat generation associated with lactation, but if they are on fire, that can be a sign of infection. Probably worth bringing up to your doctor at your regular appointment, but if there are no lumps, bumps, or hot spots, you should be fine. I know they make cooling packs for breastfeeding (I have some from lansinoh that are filled with gel beads) which are great for cooling off. They hold a chill for a while, but don't hurt like ice when you put them on. They can also be microwaved to help with letdown when you start nursing or pumping later on.

Do you normally have more average sized boobs? My boobs are massively usually and boob heat is a daily occurance :/
