When do I have my first scan? Is it at 6 weeks because I haven't been to the doctors yet I'm going tomorrow, but according to this I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant!? I have had 2 positive HPT but they both wa very fain and have started to disappear?:/ what could this mean?

I took the tests on Friday, on that day they was brighter?this one is from Friday, as you can see it's a lot brighter

Those tests look really old. If those are the ones you took a few weeks ago, stop reading them, they're not good anymore.

They aren't going to stay bright as the test ages the lines will get less bold as well, Now if you are taking new tests each day and your line is getting more faint this will be something to discuss with your doctor. It seems different for every doctors practice some ladies seem to get scans at 5-6 weeks. My doctor's practice is really busy so she only does the first appointment at 8 weeks. Having an early scan really doesn't show you much except a sac - you don't really have an opportunity to hear a heartbeat until after 6 weeks and should hear one clearly by 8 weeks. Good luck!
