insomnia at only 4-5 weeks ??

I am curious if anyone else has had insomnia so early on. I tested positive 4 days before AF 2/8/18 and believe I will be about 5 weeks tomorrow. starting a few days ago I can only sleep a few hours at a time, which is unusual for me. Last night I could barely stay awake by 9 pm so I went to bed, now here it is 1:30 in the morning and I'm wide awake 😐 I'm super excited as this is our first baby but wondering if anyone else had this so early on !

MEEEE!!!! and I still have insomnia till this day at 36 weeks. That’s how I kinda found out I was pregnant too. I had insomnia which is and was soooooo unusual for me. It was so bad I started crying because I couldn’t sleep and rest. I brought it up to my doctor and he said it could be a symptom... that every pregnancy is different and that I should cut chocolates, tea, candy, coffee, sodas etc. He also suggested to not eat late and also avoid fruit at night.

I am definitely feeling this. Although I am having some of the normal anxiety that goes along with early pregnancy and I have been assuming that’s the reason I haven’t been able to sleep. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I did! I also get insomnia during my period but it happened so much earlier than usual which is how I knew/thought I was pregnant. I had good nights and bad nights. I woke up at 6am on Wednesday morning and was up until I delivered baby girl on Friday! I had maybe an hour where i napped. It made for a super long hospital stay and I was more exhausted from not sleeping than I was from actual labor. I went to work Wednesday and was admitted Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

i have it so bad and i think its because I'm SO damn excited to be pregnant. I'm 10 weeks and last night was the best sleep ive gotten in FOREVER. So good that I was snoring.... (says the SO😂).

I pretty much went from someone who could sleep anywhere at any time to someone who never sleeps at about 6 weeks!
