How many naps does your baby take per day?

If one, how did the transition go? What were the first signs your baby was ready and how did you get to one per day successfully?

Until my daughter was about 7 or 8 months she never took naps. The only naps I could ever get her to take were maybe 20 min naps here and there when I would breastfeed.  After about 8 months I finally was getting her on a somewhat consistent nap schedule for at least 1 nap a day.  She is 11 months old and naps for about 1.5-2 hours sometime between 10 and 1!  This kid has a mind of her own lol

I follow the babies cues. They’re only awake for about 3 hours at a time give or take. Once they start wanting to be awake for longer, we’ll adjust the naps accordingly like we did when they were younger.

Our little guy takes 2 naps a day and on rare occasions 3. His morning nap is short 30-45 mins (goes down around 9:30-10:00) and his afternoon nap is anywhere from 2-3.5 hours (goes down around 12:30-1:00). 
When we transitioned from 2-3 he was really fighting his last nap of the day. Once we successfully transitioned his afternoon nap became longer.  His queues are rubbing his eyes, cranky and very clingy. Once he starts doing those I know I have a short window to get him down otherwise he gets overtired and either won’t go down or his nap will be short.

I think my sons trying to transition to one nap. He takes two, his first nap is usually 2-2 1/2 hours after he wakes (so at 10 or 11 or so) and it’s about an hour long and his second nap is usually between 3-4... and an hour long, and he goes to bed at 7. But he’s been sleeping in lately and not wanting to take his second nap. If he wakes early, he’ll take a second nap easier...just depends on how much he slept during the night and how much energy he ran out through the day lol.

I've always followed my daughter's cues and apparently she loves her sleep! She takes 2 or 3 naps a day that are normally an hour or longer. I can tell she's tired because she cries and literally lays her head down on the floor lol I figure when she's ready to nap less than I will know.

My baby started to just want one nap. She only took one nap in middle of the day. Then she just wanted to go to bed one hour earlier. Really no issue what so ever.
