Vacation with ex husband and kids?

- divorced for 3 years with 2 boys-6,8
- kids never met girlfriend 
-continue to celebrate son birthday w/ weekend trips
- is this inappropriate because I honestly don’t know as a divorced parent?

Okay so I would not be okay with my husband going on a vacation with his ex  and especially not okay with him staying in the same room. It's just a respect and boundaries thing. I would try to get a second room if you want to make it happen. Maybe try inviting her?

Given the fact that she was the mistress I would def go ahead and sleep in the same room with my ex...F.... her feelings

I would think divorce would mean no joint vacations anymore as the new normal. It is one thing to remain on good terms (which is great) but it seems a bit confusing to have a vacation where you all stay together.. I would be concerned about giving the kids false hope that you would get back together

As long as you both have different rooms and are getting along I don’t see why not:)? It’d be awsome to let the boys experience a vacation with both parents.
