What do contractions feel like?

I’m 36 weeks and this is my first, I’m
Wondering what contractions feel like so i have a little knowledge of what to look for

There's nothing to compare it to that will make prepared for them. When you get one you'll know exactly what it is.

Ive had back labor with 2 out of my 3 children thats a completely different pain lol but i was having regular contractions with my last and the best way i can describe them is horrible diahrea cramps

I had contractions but I only knew because I was in the hospital and they were monitoring me. Otherwise I wouldn't of known because mine didn't hurt. Sometimes they don't hurt and sometimes they hurt so bad you feel like you'll die.

My water broke about 13 hours before I felt any contractions. But when they came it was like period cramps x100000000000000 they can start of mild but once their consistent it fucking hurts lol

The day that my water broke they felt like muscles literally contracting and pushing downwards. I know that’s not very descriptive but it literally feels like a muscle cramp over a very large area, with intense tightening. After my water broke and my labor really started, they felt identical to period cramps. Horrible period cramps. Lol
