Your thoughts on fertility pills?

So we have almost been TTC for a year! I'd love to know thoughts on fertility pills? We have been using OPKs for 3 months and still no success.

Answer

It takes the average couple 6 months to a year to conceive. You won’t get prescribed pills for fertility like Clomid until you’ve been actively trying for a year or more. Even then that’s only useful if you don’t ovulate on your own. If you have a short luteal phase or low progesterone you might need something else. And don’t forget your partners sperm plays a part as well. If they have a low sperm count or motility that could be the reason you’re not getting pregnant.
