Does/did your newborn let you put them to bed in their own bed at night time and fall asleep?

Ha! No. My son is 17 months and still doesn't sleep through the night. He HATES sleeping alone. On an absolutely fantastic night, he might make it until 4 am before he completely freaks out wanting to get into bed with us. Which, while annoying, I don't think is abnormal. I'm an adult and I hate to sleep alone, so I can't really blame my baby for not wanting to sleep by himself.

At first no, but there was no way in hell I was starting the habit of her sleeping in our bed or in our arms every night 🙅🏻 So I continuously put her in her own bed. I started sleep training and promoting good sleep habits right from day one and had her sleeping 100% through the night by 5 weeks old.

My first absolutely did not like it. We slowly worked up to him falling asleep on his own. My second and third didn't give a crap, if they were tired, they went straight to sleep no matter where they were.
