Hey Ladies, I am after a bit of different advice here. 18 months ago i began what ended up being 4 rounds of Clomid. I have PCOS and wasn't ovulating and was desperate for a child. Without being judged, my relationship broke down and I was put in hospital by my ex partner nearly a year ago. Since then I have had completely regular periods and a large amount of my PCOS symptoms have improved! Clearly stress played a massive part in not conceiving... fortunately!! I have recently got into a new relationship with a very lovely guy and I am now left in a predicament with contraception. I was advised by my doctor that if I intended to have children within the next three years, do not go on the pill as it adversely affected my PCOS and I had to have two large dermoid cysts removed and these were hidden by the pill. Only once I came off of it were they symptomatic. I have had the implant in the past but after 2 years I started a 6 month period and had to have it removed ( although would consider it again ). Any advice on the best contraception that's not going to mess with me too much... ignoring condoms. I am aware that these are ultimately the best. Many thanks! x
