So I went in to town today to have a look at baby clothes, blankets, prams and nursery furnishings etc etc.

I’m 16 weeks and have not bought a single thing yet, so I was quite excited about doing this trip today.

However, as we don’t know the sex I felt like there was nothing neutral in nice colours available at all the shops i went to.

Add to that, that I’m not really sure what I will truly need and what’s just extravagant junk and now I just feel so overwhelmed and out of my depth. There’s so many items and how do I know what’s best to buy?

I’m so scared, sad and overwhelmed now. I thought it would be such a happy time to go baby shopping for the first time but now I dread having to go back.

Anyone else feel this way too? 😥
