3 months post VR and no sperm

My DH just had a SA 3 months post reversal and we got a zero sperm count. I am devastated but the doctor says it could still come back. I’m not sure if he is telling me what I want to hear or if there really is hope. Has anyone had success after a zero count SA after 3 months? I’d like to hear either positive and/or negative news so I can prepare myself. Please help, my mind is spinning. I have no kids and want one so badly. Thank you for all your help!
