OPK HELP

I'm a diabetic and have been on insulin for over 4 years I've had horrible side effects with it one being 60-100 days of no cycle no volition!! Well a little over 2 weeks ago my doc gave me the OK to stop the insulin and 3 days later boom my extremely late period shows up!! Well today is the day peak ovulation day....I took a test and I can't believe my eyes I think it's a POSITIVE!! I've never had a line so dark before but I don't want to get to excited....ladies please tell me what you think!!! Sorry for the long blab
