Positive OPK day before your AF?

So AF is de tomorrow. Checked CM and got an almost egg white type, cervix is higher than yesterday so I decided to randomly take an opk. I was shocked to see positive. Did it twice, digital and got smiley faces both times. No sign of AF yet. Anyone else experience this?

Many women (like myself) experience a second LH Surge before AF begins. I'm sorry if this bad news but you should never use an OPK as an indicator of pregnancy.

I'm only passing this on because it was quite sometime before I figured this out. I could have saved myself many months if anguish and confusion if I known.

It could indicate pregnancy! I'd go buy a test!

Sometimes, a + ovulation tests before af can indicate pregnancy! It would be good to take a pregnancy test to be safe, and maybe you're just ovulating late.

So I ovulated on the 28th according to a opk. To make sure I tested the next day and got one a bit lighter.  I continued to take them for 6 days(due to ovia and glow having different fertile windows)and got a line.  I am now 9dpo and I'm still getting a reading.  Last month I got my positive opk and the next day it was completely blank.  So I know how you feel.  Also I've had right abdominal pain for 2 days and now light cramping on both sides.  Af due 14-16th. Baby dust your way, all we can do is wait and hope.
