Braxton Hicks at 27 weeks?

This is my second pregnancy but with my son I never had a single Braxton Hicks contraction (I honestly never had a single contraction until my water broke at 35 weeks and they put me on pitocin). I’m 27 weeks 1 day and today I had a couple episodes of painful stomach tightening. Is this normal? Anyone else experiencing/experienced this?

I started having BX at exactly 27 weeks. My doctor says it's normal. Some things that can trigger them include: excessive baby movement, sitting in one position too long, and dehydration. Car rides actually seem to trigger mine.

I️ actually went to the hospital on Xmas for mild contractions but painful! Needless to say it was a waste of time but I’m now 27 weeks and get them often especially when standing or walking!

This is my second pregnancy and I started having them at 13 weeks. They don't bother me however. If they're intense and painful call your OB/GYN

I’m not sure that it should be painful, my doc told me to always check in if I was having painful cramps. I have had some BH here and there, second baby too, never had them with the first until we were into the last month. They’re more just weird and uncomfortable/awkward for me.
