Weird period

Hello!

I’ve been off BC for 3 months now. I’m getting a period i think. Mostly right on time few days off here and there but again only 3 months. It’s enough to need a pad or tampon. BUT it’s brown. The entire time. Maybe a few red drops. (Sorry tmi) I don’t know what that means?

Second question: I used ovulation kits for like 12 days straight when Glow said I would be ovulating ALL negative. How can I have my period and not ovulate? And why is it brown?
