Recurrent Faint OPK Lines

Hello everyone,

This is my first month back in the game. My husband and I are TTC after a second MC back in November. We are cleared to start trying again and have even been proscribed progesterone micronized to help this one stick. Since we’re going to start using progesterone I need to monitor when I’ll be ovulating so I’ll know when to start the medication.

This month has been a little tricky. My husband and I have both come down with the flu. I have been using opk since CD 11 (today is day 19) and have just recently started seeing a vvvfl for the opk. I’m pretty certain that being sick has pushed my ovulation date back almost an entire week. The confusing part is, I keep seeing this faint line on the opk and it hasn’t gotten any darker over the passed 36 hrs. If anything it is getting more faint.

I know I haven’t missed my surge yet bc I test like a mad woman but is it possible I still might not ovulate this cycle or should I keep holding out and retesting?

Also has anyone gotten opk test results like this and if so how much later in your cycle did you get a strong positive?

I really appreciate any and all help. Fingers crossed we still have a chance this month!
