Can I test 4 days before my period?

I had unprotected sex 12 days ago

Answer

You can test with the early results test, but if it’s negative I’d test again just to be sure if you don’t get your period or if your period is light and/or shorter than usual. I’m 17 weeks with my 3rd and I took a test a few days before my period was expected and got a negative. I then thought I got my period but it was light and only lasted a few days which is unusual for me, so I took another test (4 days after the first one) and it was positive!
