Gift to nurses?

So I'll be doing a hospital delivery in the next few weeks and I've been doing some reading about people bringing treats and stuff for the l&d staff. I'm curious as to if anyone is planning on doing this and what did you give?

I'm a nurse and you'd be a favorite patient if you just bring food!!! We love food :)

Don't forget about the night shift too, we always get the shaft and all the food is gone by the time we get in!

I was reading a couple of forums and it was saying that they advise against homemade treats because of fear of germs and it's now against many hospital policies for the nurses to eat it... I was thinking a couple of fruit trays.. But if we don't have time ordering pizza is always an option lol

I brought a big box of chocolates when I had my first kid. And I was totally going to forget to do something this time around if I hadn't read this...so thank you!!!

We are going to bring some healthy-ish snacks like fruit and granola bars.

I plan on baking some cookies...but that's my go to thing for everything so it's something quick and easy for me
