Pcos and Ectopic Pregnancy?

Anyone here have PCOS and has had an ectopic pregnancy? If so, did you have a successful pregnancy after that? I had an EP in March and had to have the methotrexate injection. My hcg went down to negative on May 8th. My OBGYN recommends that I don't start TTC again until at least 12 weeks after I got the injection (which was on April 7th) but says it's better if I wait until I've been taking folic acid for 12 weeks. I started taking folic acid again after my hcg was negative. She says that my situation is rare.
