Brown spotting on clomid?

Has anyone had brown spotting in placement of their period? If so what did it lead to? My doctor is in surgery all day today and can’t get back to me until tomorrow. I don’t know what to think as I have never had spotting before a period

When I first started Clomid I had brown spotting on and off for about 4 days when AF was supposed to show. I was so confused. After about 4 days of this I finally had a day or two of very light flow and that was it. My period was definitely shorter and lighter while I was on Clomid, with more spotting then flow. I hope this helps.
