What to wear at the hospital?

Does anyone have any recommendations on what to wear during my hospital stay? Any websites that have cute inexpensive stuff?

For my first I bought nursing nightgowns (like knee length) in dark colors. I think I found them at buy buy baby, but they have them lots of places. I got the tip to wear these from my friend who pointed out how often the nurses are in to check on your lady bits after and mentioned that it was much easier if you had just a nightgown on. I brought a knee length robe to wear over the nightgowns if I got cold. I have to say- I was really comfortable. It was easy access to nurse and for checks and there was nothing tight. I highly recommend this approach.

The first time around I just wore the hospital gowns. with my second I brought a robe but I also wore the gowns the hospital provides. You'll get blood on stuff so I wouldn't go out and buy stuff.

For my first I brought leggings and nursing tanks with a couple cute light robes.  I also this time found a coupe cute longer shirts that have buttons to make nursing easy but allow me to feel comfortable in the mushy tummy stage lol.  (With a c section you don’t want anything hitting below your belly button)

I had a c-section and I wore comfy loose fitting pants from Wal-Mart, but I don't recall what I wore for a top. This time I'm packing the same pants and a few nursing tanks with a robe, I remember being cold during my hospital stay last time

I just wore the hospital gown for labor,  then afterward I switched to comfy sweats and a nursing tank top with a light zip up sweater in case I got chilled.  that's it. I wore leggings and a sweater home,  comfy.. I suggest bringing flip flops to walk around in and I actually wore mine while I showered.

With my first I brought a robe and a nursing bra but ended up wearing hospital gowns the whole time. This time, I’m going to invest a bit more in my appearance, I think it will make me feel better. Plus it would be nice to not think I look like total crap in every photo taken at the hospital.

I think it depends. With my son he was in the NICU so I had to walk down the hall so I had to be dressed. So on walmart.com they had tons of sleeping shirts and short sets that I bought for 4 dollars. I will take those, a robe and if company comes I will put on a tank and yoga pants.

Comfy pants that are loose around your tummy, nursing tank, and a zip up for easy maneuvering during nursing. You just want to be comfy so whatever that means to you! I also brought another outfit to wear home, but, again, was comfy and accommodating for your changing body.
