7 hours...

I woke up this morning to what I assumed where braxton Hicks (39 weeks 4 days, not had any signs labour was close. No show, no BH, no broken waters). Decided to try out the contraction timer app I had downloaded, 2 hours later, contractions where 1 min long and 5 mins apart but I could still walk/talk function etc. decided better safe then sorry, and woke up the husband and asked to go to the hospital (sure that we would be turned away after they checked me). Turns out I’m 7 cm dialated. They ask if I want the epidural, I did (pain wasn’t bad, I just though hell, why not?) they take my bloods and call the guy, he is 5-10 mins away, and ask me to take a shower while we wait. After the shower, the cheak again, OPPS! 10 cm drug free, to late for the tap. 1 hour of pushing later and Ayla-Blake was here. Minor Labia tear, 3 stitches just to be safe, and I’m discharged by 12. We got to the hospital at 6, she arrived at 9, and we where out by 12. Everybody keeps calling me a champ, but it was sooo fast it still doesn’t seem real and I keep waiting to wake up!
