Looks like my April baby might end up being a March baby

My EDD is April 6, but at my 20 week anatomy scan I was diagnosed with partial placenta previa. The doctor was really hopeful and told me she fully expected it to move up away from my cervix as my uterus grew. I was rescheduled to be seen by her in 7 weeks and sent home on pelvic rest. 7 weeks later I went back in and we found it had moved only slightly and was still considered “marginal previa”. I was told to come back for another ultrasound in 6 weeks to see if it moved. She still sounded hopeful, so I held onto that and maintained positivity that it would resolve itself. 6 weeks later, yesterday, I went in for another ultrasound and it still had only just barely moved, and not enough to be considered safe. She wants to see me in 3 more weeks when I’m 36 weeks along, though she sounds a lot less hopeful this time around. If my placenta still has not moved enough by then, I will have to be scheduled for a c section the following week as it’s too risky to wait any longer and possibly allow my cervix to start dilating with the placenta there. We have a tentative c section date set for March 19. I’m equal parts excited and nervous.

Has anyone had or known anyone who has had partial placenta previa that resolved itself this late in the game? Is anyone else having to have their baby come early due to medical reasons? And has anyone else had a baby at 37 weeks and he/she was totally fine with no need for any sort of NICU stay? I know 37 weeks is considered “term” but ideally I would have liked for him to cook an extra couple of weeks!
