Doctors pregnancy tests?

So, I'm due to go to the doctors today due to having terrible sickness in the mornings. I have sore boobs, bloating and diarrhoea. I know TMI 😂 anyway, he wants to carry out a urine pregnancy test today but I'm not due for another five days and I'm 9DPO. Will he be able to pick it up if I am or is there a chance I haven't got enough HCG in my urine yet?

I agree that everyone is different. I got positives on 3 home tests at 10dpo and wasn’t able to get an appt at a clinic until almost a week later. They had me do a urine test and the nurse told me not to be surprised if it came back negative because the tests they used required higher hcg. When it came up blazing positive she was shocked. If it comes back negative for you I’d ask for a blood test if your dr doesn’t request one, just for peace of mind and so you know sooner and can start prenatal care.

Every one is different but I had a urine pregnancy test done at 8DPO at home and one at the doctors the next day and it showed up positive.. they do get labs done as well
