Omg the gif. I chose water birth even though I haven't had one (yet). I used the tub a lot during labor with my first and it helped a lot, so I plan to try to have a water birth with his sister come June.

It really depends on the person, but if you're going to give birth on a bed the worst position to do it in is laying on your back. It closes you off and makes tearing more likely.
