Only 2 Ultrasounds??

So at my first apt, (it was supposed to be my 12 week), i ended up measuring 2 weeks behind at 9 weeks and 4 days. I guess being a ftm i just assumed that at my apt today (actually 12 weeks and 4 days) i would get another one to check baby's development. WRONG. Unfortunately, I was told that my dr's office only does 2 ultrasounds; one at the first visit and one at 20 weeks. Talk about disappointment! Did get to hear baby's heartbeat though and all was good at around 163bpm. Have to go back Monday to get blood drawn for the gender because it was too late today. Kinda upset because everyone else has ultrasounds from 12 weeks to 16 weeks and I only have the one from early on :(
