Kindle for baby books?

Question

I’m going through all these books I’d like to read my little one, and thought of the Kindle. 
Does anyone use this to read and share stories with their kids? Do they show the pictures like a picture book?
Maybe someone else has a recommendation for something similar they use? I like the idea of saving money for digital copies and having them all in one place.

I’ve always been a big fan of real books because they help with motor skills, along with delaying “tablet” usage. That’d be one of the main reasons I wouldnt. As they are starting to learn, it looks like a great tool to teach reading. But as a baby, I personally would hold off on it. 
It looks like they have a whole kids book program though, so id assume pictures and everything would be the same.

As an elementary teacher I HIGHLY recommend you stick to real books. They start learning print concepts so early. Also, many of the digital editions are just as pricey as printed. I would suggest a library card. Also, check to see if the Dolly Parton Imagination Library is available where you are. It’s an amazing program that will send one book per month to your little one for the first few years.

Borrow from your local library, buy used books. Please don’t read your baby books from a Kindle- they need to see, feel, and hear real books.
