Is the DocATot worth it?

I really want to purchase it/put it on my gift registry but it’s so damn expensive! Is it worth it?

No. They are also not recommended for sleeping.

I would maybe just hold off until you figure out if you think your LO needs it. 
And of course it’s norm”recommend” for sleep. It doesn’t meet the guidelines. But it is intended for sleep. That’s what it was made for. They just can’t advertise unattended sleep. 
My LO will only sleep in her rock n play. Again,  not recommended for unattended sleep. But that’s what it was made for. 
It’s so expensive you’d hate to spend the money and then they don’t use it. So I’d say wait!
