I think its nothing..

About a week ago I was in a car accident, and was forced to go to the hospital under a trauma alert (I was not hurt, just a bruise. I had to go in because my drivers side door caved in more than 12 inches). While I was at the hospital, they had me take a pee test (regular safety precautions) I had gotten my period the SECOND I peed in the cup. I told the nurse that I had just gotten my period that very second. The nurse came back and said I had a few white blood cells (claimed to be a UTI or yeast infection) but I have no other symptoms of either of those, no itchiness, burning, nothing. I am going to a clinic soon anyway to start birth control, should I ask or just brush it off? Its a week later and still have no other symptoms.
