What does round ligament pain feel like? Help.

Yesterday I stood up and all of a sudden on my left side where my uterus is i started getting pains to what felt like a pulsing, pulling pain. It wasn’t only in my uterus but in my lower back as well. I went in to the doctor today and she said that I’m too early to experience this but I’ve read differently online I’m (15 weeks). Im a little worried since this is my first baby, I don’t know what to or not to expect. Thank you. ❤️

I had round ligament pain starting at about 13 weeks. It’s normal that early because everything is growing and stretching so I’m not sure why your doctor would say that. To me it felt like a sharp/stabbing/pulling pain.

I’ve had round ligament pain since the beginning of this pregnancy. It feels like a sharp pulling pain. It’s usually very low in my abdomen on either left or right sides of my uterus. Kind of in the area where very muscular people have that “V”. If that makes any sense at all...

A stab to the side of belly above the hip bone.  Hurts like hell for 30s to a minute for me.

While round ligament pain often appears a little later in the second trimester, it can appear even as early as the first (which is when I started experiencing it).  Generally, it feels like a sharp pain in your lower left or right abdomen that occurs suddenly and only lasts a few seconds.  It's often brought on when you move abruptly, sneeze, cough, or laugh.

I started feeling this at 13 weeks...and still experience it. My doc told me its completely normal. & explained that it should subside around week 16.

I get sharp pains every few days but only last for about 2 mins and then goes away when I change positions. I don’t think it’s too early because those happen when your uterus is growing and that’s exactly what’s happening!
Don’t be worried unless it gets worse and more frequent :) I’m 16 weeks btw and have felt them for about 3 weeks now
