Wax play?? (Unsure)

Out of no where I sort of got into waxplay (I think lol) I was playing with a candle as I was in the bath and I drippdd it on my chest, and I loved the feeling. I'm in a Dom/sub relationship and ive sent a few pictures to my Dom of me doing it but he hasn't seemed that interested. Neither of us are that into s&m; like things besides spanking when we are in the mood. I don't know if I really want to suggest it too much, of if I'd even like him doing it to me since I've only done it to myself.

"Trigger Warming" (self harm)

When I was 9-16 I used to burn myself with hot metel, on the stove, with lighters, ect. So I'm not quite sure if me liking it has to do with that and if so, if I should even be doing it. I haven't self harmed in over 2 years and I don't have any urge too. I just don't know if this would be considered 'healthy' considering my past.
