Can glow ap be wrong?

Wondering how the glow ap calculates ovulation day? Is it an estimate? Wondering if anyone out there has had the glow ap indicate they ovulated when it fact they didn't?

It gets more accurate the longer you use it as it gets used to your cycles. Still I ovulated 4 days earlier than it said and now I'm 13 weeks pregnant.

It is only an app, so yes it is just making estimates, based off other women's data.  The more info you give it the more accurate it will be.  I myself track cm, and so it is fairly accurate.
